In 2004...
- 5 cadets attended Easter camp at RAF Brampton
- 11 cadets attended Summer camp at RAF Lyneham and flew in the Hercules aircraft
- 5 cadets attended Air Cadet Adventure Training Centre Windermere
- 2 cadets went to Overseas camp at RAF Gibraltar
- 4 cadets attended a weeks 'Green' camp in Devon
- Over 50 Air Experience Flights in Tutor aircraft by Canvey cadets
- 1 cadet gained a Gliding Scholarship, and 6 completed a Gliding Induction Course
- 1 cadet represented Essex Wing in Junior Rugby
- 2 cadets gained BTEC's in Aviation Studies (Intermediate)
- 15 cadets attended a day visit to RAF Marham, a large Tornado base
- Canvey Squadron came 1st in Senior Girls in the Essex Wing Athletics, and taking 3rd in Junior Boys
- In the Essex Wing Cross Country competition, 1 male cadet came 1 st in Junior Boys and 1 girl came 1st in Senior Girls
- 15 cadets spent two days at RAF Honington with the RAF Regiment, learning Field Tactics, Section Attacks and Patrol Skills…AND LOADS MORE!!!
